BECK 

Latterhand explored the site and history of Braford Beck, filming and recording sounds to create a new work which was  previewed in  2024. 

The project was  developed with the support of Friends of Bradford's Becks.

Further live performances were in Autumn 2024 and 2025 and the film soundtracks were recorded for online release and gallery installation. 

The Beck is filmed from source to where it meets the River Aire in West Yorkshire. It travels through the heart of the city, diverted underground in places. The industrial heritage and contemporary  topography are revealed in these audio visual soundscapes. Click on images to view the films.

In April 2025 Latterhand spent a week in residence at Trapezium Gallery in Bradford creating an interactive exhibition and performance space exploring the themes of Beck using visual art and exploratory film
