BECK 

Latterhand are currently exploring the site and history of Braford Beck, filming and recording sounds to create a new work which was  previewed in early 2024. 

The project is being developed with the support of Friends of Bradford's Becks.

Further live performances are  planned for Autumn 2024 and the film soundtracks have been recorded for online release and gallery installation. 

The Beck is filmed from source to where it meets the River Aire in West Yorkshire. It travels through the heart of the city, diverted underground in places. The industrial heritage and contemporary  topography are revealed in these audio visual soundscapes. Click on images to view the films.
